The Final Mile Manager oversees Final Mile Partners, 3PL relationships, and designated hub performance. This manager ensures standard operating procedures, delivery deadlines, customer satisfaction, and brand-right service. The work combines strategic focus, physical presence, operational audits, issue resolution, and cross-functional collaboration with stores, providers, and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations at designated final mile hub facilities
- Monitor cost, cycle time, delivery, returns, and satisfaction metrics
- Participate in morning loadouts and drive team standups
- Investigate delivery failures, escalations, and root causes
- Approve 3PL provider invoices for billing accuracy
Requirements:
- Three to five years in logistics or home delivery operations
- High school diploma; college degree preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to move furniture weighing up to 150 pounds
