The Live Events Intern reports to the Events Manager and supports programs ranging from small to large-scale internal events. This internship develops communication with large audiences and individual department representatives while contributing to efficient event delivery. Event planning experience is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and distribute event information to departments
- Generate accurate estimates following operational policies
- Brief event staff during event days
- Update calendars, schedules, and weekly venue information
- Assist Event Managers and Programming teams as requested
Requirements:
- University or college enrollment in event-related studies
- Outgoing, diplomatic, and self-motivated approach
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask
- Integrity, confidentiality, discretion, and positive attitude
- Availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays
