As Catering Manager, you will plan, coordinate, and execute services across a busy university campus and wedding venue. You will lead catering employees, support faculty, staff, student groups, and other campus partners, and collaborate with culinary and operations teams. Your work ensures events meet client expectations and university community standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate catering services for events of varying size and complexity
- Prepare accurate Banquet Event Orders and communicate requirements
- Support clients with planning solutions and recommendations
- Supervise, coach, train, and schedule catering staff
- Ensure timely event delivery and regulatory compliance
Requirements:
- Three to five years in catering, hospitality, events, or food service
- Two years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience coordinating catered events and managing client relationships
- Strong organization, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Food safety or beverage service certification required or obtainable
