Lead practical regulatory oversight for ARAG Legal Solutions Inc. as a Compliance Manager supporting a hybrid Toronto-based P&C insurance program.
Reporting to the Director, Legal and Compliance, you will support daily compliance delivery for a federally and provincially licensed P&C insurer. The position covers governance, monitoring, OSFI guidance, and business support. You will help translate requirements into practical actions across underwriting, claims, sales, HR, and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain policies, standards, procedures, and internal controls
- Coordinate risk assessments, plans, testing, and monitoring
- Prepare metrics, dashboards, trends, and board reporting
- Monitor regulatory developments affecting P&C insurers
- Guide stakeholders on regulatory and compliance risks
Requirements:
- University degree in a related field
- Five to seven years' P&C insurance compliance experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of OSFI Guidelines
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Practical judgment and strong organizational abilities
