Our Richmond client is seeking a permanent full time Junior Accountant to join the team.

Competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $55,000 + Bonus & Benefits

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting tasks such as data entry, journal entries, and maintaining organized financial records
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Help manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and resolving discrepancies
• Assist with accounts payable, expense processing, and reconciling bank/credit card transactions (including multi-currency)
• Contribute to financial reporting, including monthly reports and basic variance analysis
• Provide operational and administrative support, including tracking expenses, preparing cost summaries, and handling ad-hoc tasks

Successful Candidate

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (BBA or BCOM)
• Strong academic background in accounting principles
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
