Build fast, reliable Android apps in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, ship them through Google Play, and raise the bar for how we build on Android. What you'll do
Design, build and ship features in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose across our Android apps.
Own purchases and subscriptions with the Google Play Billing Library, including server-side verification.
- Run releases in
- Play
Console: testing tracks, staged rollouts and Android vitals.
Keep apps quick and accessible on a wide range of devices (Talk Back, large fonts, low-end phones).
Review code, mentor other engineers and help set our Android standards.
Work with our ASO and ads specialist on store listings, onboarding and experiments.
What you bring
5+ years building Android apps professionally, with apps you worked on live on Google Play.
Deep knowledge of Kotlin, coroutines and Flow, Jetpack Compose and modern Android architecture.
Hands-on experience with Play Billing, Play Console and Google Play's developer policies.
Solid testing habits (JUnit, Compose UI tests) and comfort with Gradle and CI.
Clear written communication: you explain your choices and write things down.
Nice to have
Wear OS, widgets (Glance) or tablet layouts.
Localizing apps in English and French.
Education or exam-preparation apps.
