The Senior Associate, Investments and Asset Management, Multifamily Rental is a key analytical member of Anthem's Multifamily team, supporting investment activities, asset management and the growth of our multifamily portfolio. Reporting to the Vice President, Multifamily, the Senior Associate provides analytical and execution support across acquisitions, dispositions, existing assets and our development pipeline, with exposure to the full lifecycle of multifamily real estate.

You are Analytical but commercially minded - you want to understand what drives value, not just build the model Highly organized, able to manage multiple transactions, assets and deadlines at once Self-aware - you seek out personal and professional growth opportunities Ready to take increasing ownership of workstreams while working directly with senior leadership You will Support the evaluation and underwriting of multifamily acquisition and investment opportunities, building detailed financial models and investment committee materials Coordinate acquisition and disposition due diligence through to closing, working with internal teams, legal counsel, brokers and lenders Prepare monthly and quarterly asset-level reporting, including budget variance analysis, cash-flow forecasting and performance trends Support annual budgeting, reforecasting and capital planning across the portfolio Maintain development proforma operating assumptions and a consolidated portfolio and pipeline tracker Conduct market research and rental comparable analysis across Anthem's key multifamily markets Champion Anthem's culture in everything you do, in the spirit of the Anthem Way You have Approximately 2-5 years of relevant experience in real estate investments, acquisitions, asset management, development, investment banking or commercial real estate finance A bachelor's degree in business, finance, real estate, economics or a related discipline Strong financial modelling skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience underwriting income-producing real estate; multifamily experience preferred Strong understanding of NOI, cap rates, IRR, equity multiples, leverage and cash-flow analysis Transaction due diligence and execution experience an asset We have Great, diverse, authentic people!
