As a Wiring Technician, you will support ANDRITZ Canada's hydroelectric equipment manufacturing in Chambly, Quebec. The facility designs, manufactures, and installs electrical equipment for hydroelectric plants and other industries. You will build custom panels, connect protection and control components, and report to the Production Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install parts and equipment in electrical control boxes
- Wire components according to engineering drawings
- Install cabling for protection and control equipment
- Verify assemblies according to CSA/UL standards
- Prepare equipment for final inspection and installation
Requirements:
- DES and DEP in automated systems electromechanics or equivalent training
- Good manual dexterity
- Ability to read electrical schematics and drawings
- Versatility, responsibility, autonomy, and deadline awareness
- Legal status to work in Canada
