Lead 24/7 industrial production in Hamilton with Amrize, using steel mill processing, scheduling, and safety expertise. Salary position supporting slag operations daily. As Production Supervisor, you will manage a unionized workforce of seventeen personnel across continuous operations. The work covers steel mill processing, material hauling, inventory preparation, and bulk slag shipping. You will coordinate production schedules, equipment utilization, quality, costs, and safety while collaborating with department heads. Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily production operations across continuous 24/7 scheduling Oversee slag processing, hauling, inventory, and bulk shipping Manage production changes against forecast schedules and budgets Coordinate raw material transport with Steel Mill contacts Train personnel and promote safety, quality, and environmental policies Requirements:
Bachelor degree or related field; CET preferred At least five years of slag manufacturing or industrial experience Safety certifications or supervisory training are advantageous Strong computer skills; SAP and office software preferred Ability to travel ten percent, mostly within Ontario Apply production supervision, steel mill knowledge, scheduling, and safety leadership to Amrize slag operations in Hamilton.
