The Production Manager holds direct accountability for Brookfield Cement Plant performance. This role develops budgets, cost savings, performance plans, and KPI targets. It also connects plant operations with Sales and Distribution while promoting collaboration, agility, simplicity, empowerment, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement health and safety action plans, training, communication, and audits
- Drive production components of the PDP process
- Participate in annual budget setting and financial reviews
- Collaborate with Sales and Distribution on market demands
- Ensure plant equipment efficiency and manage refractory performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- Ten years of industrial manufacturing experience
- Five years of progressive management experience
- Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and SAP proficiency
- Knowledge of cement equipment and unionized environments
