Lead housekeeping operations at Amica Somerset House as a full-time supervisor, directing teams and maintaining high cleanliness standards throughout the residence.
Reporting to the Community Operations Manager, you will plan, organize, assign, inspect, develop, and direct daily housekeeping functions. The position oversees Housekeepers, cleaning schedules, sanitization, inspections, and resident satisfaction. You will also support move-ins, move-outs, carpet cleaning, laundry operations, and departmental communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and assign duties to Housekeepers
- Maintain suite and common-area cleaning schedules
- Monitor inspections, audits, sanitization, and quality assurance
- Order supplies and equipment and complete inventories
- Train team members and lead departmental meetings
Requirements:
- Ability to supervise Housekeepers and coordinate daily work
- Ability to maintain safety and infection-control procedures
- Ability to handle chemicals properly and safely
- Ability to respond to resident and team-member concerns
- Ability to support cleaning, carpet, and laundry operations
