American Iron & Metal is seeking a skilled AZ Driver for our Transportation team. This full-time position starts at 6:00 AM, Monday-Friday. You will need to ensure safe transport of metal materials while complying with all traffic laws and company policies, leveraging your driving skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate an AZ-class truck for safe material transport
- Load and unload metal materials securely and efficiently
- Perform manual tarping as needed for loads
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections
- Maintain thorough records of deliveries and documentation
Requirements:
- Valid AZ driver's license with clean CVOR and Drivers Abstract
- At least 2 years of AZ driving experience
- Experience driving 18-speed manual transmission
- Physically fit for loading and unloading tasks
- Knowledge of metal recycling processes is a plus
