Job Description
AIM is currently seeking a Loader Operator for its Montréal-Est site. You will be responsible for loading and handling various materials using heavy equipment, as well as weighing incoming and outgoing materials in the yard.
Whatyou’reresponsible for :
- Operate a loader safely and efficiently;
- Load and unload raw materials in the different departments;
- Complete and provide weight reports to the relevant personnel;
- Notify the supervisor of any material non-conformities;
- Inspect machinery at the beginning and end of the shift;
- Feed the production line;
- Ensure machinery is functioning properly and report any anomalies to your immediate supervisor;
- Complete a daily activity report;
- Perform any other related tasks.
Qualifications
To join our team :
- You have a DEP in heavy machinery operation or 1 to 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment;
- You hold a valid competency card for operating heavy machinery;
- You have a valid Class 5 driver’s license;
- You are safety-conscious and committed to health and safety standards;
- You are able to manage multiple priorities under pressure;
- You have strong communication skills;
- You are able to work effectively as part of a team;
