This Mortgage Funding Associate position supports final mortgage funding from solicitor instructions through disbursement. You will collaborate with underwriters, brokers, law offices, and customers while managing competing priorities. The 18-month fixed-term role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and mortgage process knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review solicitor instruction packages
- Work with solicitors to satisfy registration requirements
- Prepare documentation packages for final disbursement
- Investigate escalated issues and maintain customer service
- Forward completed files for digital imaging and processing
Requirements:
- Minimum three years of mortgage or financial institution experience
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage priorities and consistently meet deadlines
- Understanding of mortgage accuracy, compliance, and audit requirements
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
