This Senior Associate supports Alvarez & Marsal's Tax Canada Team across tax advisory engagements. The work includes Canadian tax research, compliance deliverables, income tax provisions, tax planning, audits, and client service. You will manage workstreams, review Associates' work, and collaborate across service lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research tax legislation and support practical client advice
- Prepare compliance, consulting, and income tax provision deliverables
- Assist with tax planning, audits, and regulatory inquiries
- Manage workstreams across multiple client engagements
- Review Associates' work and provide technical coaching
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree; taxation or accounting master's degree preferred
- CPA designation or progress toward completion
- Two or more years of progressive tax experience
- Corporate tax compliance and consulting engagement experience
- Microsoft Excel and tax software proficiency
