Construction Project Administrator Halifax

Construction project administration and accounting support define this permanent, full-time opportunity in Halifax, requiring strong written and verbal English communication skills.

As a Project Administrator, you will support the Construction Services team across documentation, coordination, budgeting, and financial administration. You will work with project managers, construction professionals, contractors, finance teams, internal teams, and external partners. The position uses Yardi and requires organized management of competing priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate contracts, work orders, permits, drawings, and close-out records
• Support RFQs, RFPs, tenders, presentations, and project communications
• Maintain budgets, schedules, milestones, risks, and progress reporting using Yardi
• Process purchase orders, invoices, contractor draws, and consultant payments
• Organize meetings, agendas, minutes, expenses, and project records

Requirements:

• Experience in construction administration, project coordination, or construction accounting
• Understanding of accounts payable, purchase orders, contractor draws, and budget tracking
• Experience using Yardi or similar project management and financial systems
• Familiarity with construction documentation, contracts, tenders, permits, and document control
• Strong Excel, Word, Outlook, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
