This Development Accounting Coordinator contract supports financial operations across multiple business entities. The work suits an accounting professional building expertise in real estate development and the broader accounting lifecycle. You will collaborate with project accountants and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist monthly financial reporting across multiple entities
- Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and variance analysis
- Support HST, GST, and QST reporting
- Coordinate development fee packages and intercompany accounting
- Resolve discrepancies with project accountants and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Three to five years' experience in a similar accounting role
- Post-secondary education in accounting, business, or related field
- CPA designation or progress toward CPA is an asset
- Experience with real estate accounting or Yardi is an asset
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
