About the Opportunity
Altis Recruitment is proud to partner with a global third-party logistics organization to hire a Distribution Center Manager for one of its largest and most strategic sites in Mississauga. This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing a 150-employee, unionized distribution centre serving complex, high-profile clients in telecommunications, healthcare, and manufacturing. You will lead a team of Operations Managers and functional leaders, drive performance across a partially automated environment, and play a key role in labour relations, financial oversight, and client experience. This is a site where leadership presence matters and where your ability to balance operational excellence with employee engagement will directly influence long-term success.

Your Responsibilities
- You’ll lead end-to-end operations for a large, unionized distribution centre, overseeing multiple client accounts and a team of six direct reports.
- You’ll own budget creation and allocation, monthly forecasting, and financial performance discussions with senior leadership.
- You’ll manage labour relations strategically, navigating union conversations with confidence and professionalism.
- You’ll partner closely with on-site client stakeholders to ensure service excellence, retention, and long-term growth.
- You’ll drive continuous improvement initiatives, automation optimization, safety culture, and ESG priorities across the site.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Distribution Center Manager within a 3PL or large-scale distribution environment
- 5+ years operating in a unionized warehouse setting, with direct labour relations exposure
- Strong financial acumen, including budget ownership and P&L accountability
- Experience leading multi-client or complex automated operations
- Proven ability to build engaged, high-performing teams
- Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, or a related field is an asset
