Operate AltaGas REEF from a DeltaV DCS console in Prince Rupert, supporting propane, butane, LPG storage, and vessel loading operations. As Operator 1, you will support commissioning, startup, and ready-for-operations activities in the field and control room. You will lead Plant and Rail Operators while coordinating with the Shift Supervisor and Senior Management. This full-time position follows a seven-days-on, seven-days-off rotation with day and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate DeltaV DCS control systems proficiently
- Support commissioning, startup, and ready-for-operations activities
- Manage propane and butane process flows
- Develop procedures and lockout/tagout packages
- Lead incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Five-plus years in gas plant or terminal operations
- Minimum two years of control room experience
- Fourth Class Power Engineering certification
- Facility startup and commissioning experience
