As a Shop QA/QC professional, you will support fabrication quality through inspections, testing documentation, and code-based practices. The position requires CWB Level 1 Certification, two-plus years of quality control experience, and a solid understanding of ASME and CSA codes. Work takes place at 8700 Venture Ave SE, which is not transit-accessible, with other trades present.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete dimensional and visual inspections of welded piping
- Inspect structural steel and document quality control results
- Record welders' symbols, heat numbers, and radiography numbers
- Prepare documentation and inspect pressure tests
- Coordinate inspections with ABSA, NDE contractors, and client TPI representatives
Requirements:
- Possess CWB Level 1 Certification
- Have two-plus years of quality control experience
- Hold a Common Safety Orientation ticket
- Understand ASME and CSA codes and practices
- Lift up to 60 pounds and work at heights
