As a Maintenance Technician, you will assist trades, contractors, and senior facilities staff with required maintenance work. Your duties span minor painting, basic carpentry, plumbing, lab equipment servicing, material transport, and property care. Established procedures, schedules, and safety policies guide daily work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist trades, contractors, and senior facilities staff
- Maintain indoor and outdoor property areas
- Operate forklifts to move pallets and dump garbage
- Purchase and transport maintenance supplies
- Service lab equipment and complete minor repairs
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Valid full Provincial drivers licence
- Forklift certificate or relevant experience considered an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability for rotating shifts, weekends, and 24/7 operations
