Principal Financial Ecosystem Architect Responsibilities
Provide strategic architectural guidance for financial services and digital ecosystem initiatives.
Assess ecosystem architectures, operating models, governance frameworks, and API interoperability.
Evaluate digital identity, authentication, trust frameworks, accreditation models, and participant onboarding processes.
Identify architectural risks, gaps, security concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
Ensure alignment with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security best practices.
Engage with senior stakeholders and technical teams to support strategic decisions.
Prepare architectural assessments, recommendations, and briefing materials.
Required Qualifications
Degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of enterprise architecture experience in complex technology or financial services environments.
Experience with financial ecosystems, API architectures, interoperability, digital identity, and trust frameworks.
Knowledge of accreditation processes, governance, and regulatory compliance.
Strong stakeholder engagement, strategic thinking, and architectural assessment skills.
Experience with Financial-grade APIs (FAPI), API security, OAuth 2.0, Open ID Connect, m TLS, PKI, certificate management, and Microsoft Azure.
