Senior Accident Benefits Claims Advisor

As a Senior Claim Advisor, Accident Benefits, you will handle complex to non-catastrophic first party injury claims. Reporting to the Manager Casualty Claims Complex AB, you will interpret policy wording, determine coverage, set reserves, and resolve claims. The work requires Ontario Accident Benefits experience outside the MIG, injury claims knowledge, and strong organization. You will communicate with claimants, vendors, medical professionals, and lawyers while collaborating with Accident Benefit Adjusters and Claims Assistants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret policy wording and determine Accident Benefits coverage
• Investigate, negotiate, and settle moderate-to-high complexity claims
• Set reserves and document files thoroughly
• Follow legislative, regulatory, and Allstate requirements
• Manage customer problems, authority limits, and assigned caseload

Requirements:

• Two to four years of Ontario Accident Benefits experience outside MIG
• Completed CIP designation or willingness to pursue
• Knowledge of injury claims and medical rehabilitation concepts
• Strong critical thinking, organization, and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
