Lead industrial electrical and controls design with Allnorth across multidisciplinary projects, applying power distribution and instrumentation expertise to practical client solutions. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will support proposals, scope and cost estimates, project engineering, and designs from concept through implementation. Your work spans industrial plants and process projects, including medium voltage distribution, motor control centers, process control systems, and electrical calculations. You will collaborate with project managers, suppliers, clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams while maintaining schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical engineering and design for industrial plant projects
- Prepare instrumentation, controls, and process system designs
- Approve engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Review vendor drawings and support construction commissioning
- Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation control issues
Requirements:
- Registered or eligible for P.Eng registration
- 10+ years in industrial design, plant, or construction environments
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Easy Power, or ETAP
- Knowledge of PLC, DCS, HMI, and variable frequency drives
- Strong communication, leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
