Lead structural design for Allnorth across industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects using CAD software and three-dimensional modeling. Collaborate across disciplines. As a Senior Structural Designer, you will develop practical solutions from concept through completion. Your work includes steel structures, concrete foundations, buildings, platforms, and related components. You will interpret sketches, specifications, calculations, and design criteria while coordinating with engineers, project managers, clients, contractors, and fabricators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead structural designs and detailed drawings for varied projects
- Prepare two-dimensional drawings, three-dimensional models, and structural layouts
- Develop detailed packages for steel and concrete structures
- Review designs for constructability, accuracy, and applicable codes
- Mentor junior designers and support design consistency
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in structural design or related discipline
- Seven or more years of relevant structural design experience
- Proficiency with industry-standard CAD and structural design software
- Knowledge of building codes and structural design standards
