Manage Canadian multi-provincial payroll with ADP Workforce Now, benefits administration, and rigorous reconciliation as Allied's Senior Payroll Specialist. This individual contributor role supports accurate, confidential, compliant employee payments.
Reporting to the Director, People, you will process payroll for more than 300 employees across Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, and Quebec. The work covers payroll legislation, taxation, retirement savings plans, benefits, government remittances, reporting, and year-end filings. You will also guide stakeholders and improve payroll controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process, audit, review, and reconcile bi-weekly Canadian payroll
- Manage remittances, filings, reports, and year-end statutory documents
- Administer benefits, retirement contributions, taxable benefits, and garnishments
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile payroll general ledger accounts
- Lead ADP Workforce Now enhancements, testing, and configuration changes
Requirements:
- Five to ten years of progressive multi-provincial payroll experience
- Certified Payroll Manager designation or active certification pursuit
- Knowledge of Canadian legislation, taxation, remittances, and Quebec regulations
- Advanced ADP Workforce Now knowledge and payroll systems experience
- Strong analytical, organizational, confidential, and detail-oriented judgment
