Customer is seeking an AMADA CNC set up operator to set up, program, and operate AMADA turret punch presses. Role includes tooling, first-piece verification, reading drawings/CAD output, adjusting programs, troubleshooting machines, maintaining quality and production targets, and following safety procedures.
Must have skills and experience:
- Minimum 2 years hands-on experience setting up and operating AMADA CNC punch presses
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD/CAM output, and produce accurate first-piece inspections
- Competence with basic CNC program edits, tool selection, and setup documentation
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) and quality control checks
- Strong attention to detail, safe material handling, and ability to meet production schedules
- Do you have direct experience setting up and operating AMADA CNC turret punch presses? (Yes/No/expand)
- Can you read production drawings and perform first-piece inspections independently? (Yes/No/expand)
- Are you comfortable performing basic CNC program edits, tool changes, and troubleshooting on press equipment? (Yes/No/expand)
