As an Accountant, you will support clients with financial and tax reporting obligations. You will prepare year-end files, corporate income tax returns, account reconciliations, and related documentation. The role includes collaboration with managers, partners, and colleagues while developing technical knowledge and professional skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare year-end financial statements and corporate income tax returns
- Review account reconciliations and annual financial transactions
- Assist clients with accounting and tax-related matters
- Communicate with clients, CRA, and external stakeholders
- Monitor deadlines and obtain required client information
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree with an accounting concentration
- CPA designation or progress toward CPA designation
- Experience with Sage and/or QuickBooks
- Microsoft Office knowledge, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
