Oncology Clinical Researcher (AI Training)

What if your deep expertise in cancer clinical trials could directly shape how AI understands and reasons about oncology -- influencing the next generation of tools used by researchers, clinicians, and regulators worldwide?

We're looking for experienced Oncology Clinical Researchers to bring real-world clinical rigor into cutting-edge AI development. You'll work alongside leading AI research teams to ensure that oncology data, trial insights, and regulatory knowledge are accurately reflected in frontier AI systems. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed -- just deep oncology expertise and a sharp eye for clinical accuracy.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10-40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Design and evaluate oncology clinical trial protocols, including patient enrollment strategies and regulatory compliance standards
  • Analyze cancer trial data -- safety profiles, efficacy endpoints, and biomarker results -- to assess treatment performance
  • Translate trial outcomes into clear regulatory and scientific narratives aligned with FDA, EMA, and international standards
  • Review and critique AI-generated clinical insights for scientific accuracy, clinical relevance, and regulatory alignment
  • Help shape how AI models reason about real oncology evidence, trial design, and clinical decision-making
  • Work independently and asynchronously -- fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • Experienced in designing and managing oncology clinical trials from protocol development through data readout
  • Strong background in analyzing oncology endpoints, safety data, and biomarker results
  • Familiar with regulatory submission standards for agencies such as the FDA or EMA
  • Detail-oriented and rigorous -- you hold AI-generated content to the same standards as a peer-reviewed submission
  • Comfortable working independently on structured, task-based assignments
  • No prior AI or data annotation experience required

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data annotation, data quality review, or evaluation systems
  • Background in translational oncology, precision medicine, or biomarker research
  • Familiarity with clinical data management systems or electronic data capture platforms
  • Prior involvement in regulatory submissions or scientific publications

Why Join Us

  • Work directly on frontier AI systems transforming how the world understands cancer research
  • Fully remote and flexible -- work when and where it suits you
  • Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, expert-level work
  • Influence how AI models interpret and apply real oncology science at a global scale
  • Collaborate with world-leading AI research labs on high-impact projects
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
