Own commercial data products at Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease in Mississauga. Shape governed datasets, quality controls, and delivery standards. This Associate Director role leads data products supporting US Commercial reporting, advanced analytics, CRM, and Decision Science. You will establish business definitions, ownership, lineage, validation, and release acceptance criteria across multiple sources and consumers. You will also partner with engineering on models, pipelines, architecture, access, and sustained operations. Key Responsibilities:
Define reusable datasets, business rules, ownership, and lineage Review models, mappings, transformations, pipelines, and architecture Set critical data elements, thresholds, controls, and exception ownership Confirm testing, cutover plans, and downstream launch readiness Communicate risks, decisions, delivery status, and data limitations Requirements:
Eight or more years managing pharmaceutical or healthcare commercial data Advanced SQL and practical Snowflake profiling experience Working knowledge of Python and orchestration or transformation tools Experience defining quality controls and release acceptance criteria Ability to influence senior business and technology stakeholders Bring data product ownership, quality leadership, Snowflake judgment, and stakeholder influence to Alexion’s commercial data portfolio.
