This regular full-time Laboratory Technologist II position works within an interdisciplinary team at Peace River Comm Health Ctr. You will coordinate daily laboratory operations, quality control, and specialized procedures. The work includes technical troubleshooting, patient results, instrumentation, and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, prioritize, monitor, and assign laboratory work
- Perform standard and specialized laboratory procedures
- Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot selected instrumentation
- Enter, review, report, and distribute patient results
- Investigate quality control problems and document follow-up
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology program
- Active or eligible CMLTA registration and practice permit
- Availability for days, evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts
- Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
