This regular full-time position coordinates Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging services at Peace River Comm Health Ctr. You will direct department staff, perform manual and automated laboratory procedures, complete diagnostic imaging exams, and support cardiology procedures. Work follows ACCLXT, CPSA, and Health Professions Act standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and supervise day-to-day department staff and services
- Coordinate Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging department operations
- Perform manual and automated laboratory procedures
- Complete diagnostic imaging exams and cardiology procedures
- Enter, review, report, and distribute patient results accurately
Requirements:
- Diploma from an accredited Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technology program
- Current ACCLXT CLXT registration in good standing
- Additional Authorization in Transfusion Medicine
- Availability for days, evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts
- Ability to respond within 30 minutes while on call
