Support daily living, mobility, and patient wellbeing as a Health Care Aide at Lloydminster Continuing Care Centre. This regular full-time role includes rotating shifts.
As a Health Care Aide, you will provide personal assistance and support services to patients, clients, and residents. You will work collaboratively with patients, families, caregivers, nurses, and the multidisciplinary team. The position supports Auxiliary Long Term Care through home, community, and health care facility services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support activities of daily living according to care plans
- Assist with hygiene, nutrition, mobility, recreation, and safety needs
- Support organized activities and programs
- Observe and report patients' mood, health, and wellbeing
- Maintain safe environments for patients, staff, and visitors
Requirements:
- Active or eligible CLHA registration or practice permit
- Health Care Aide certification or education proof
- Complete Health Care Aide Certificate within eighteen months
- Availability for days, evenings, nights, and weekends
- Ability to follow facility policies and patient care plans
