We are seeking a full-time Diagnostic Sonographer I to conduct a variety of sonographic exams, including general and cardiac imaging. Collaborating closely with Radiologists and medical staff, you will ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging while taking necessary actions on abnormal findings. This role is vital for providing excellent patient management and active participation in clinical interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform standardized and complex ultrasound services
- Prepare patients and explain procedures prior to exams
- Produce diagnostic-quality ultrasound images
- Assist with diagnosing and managing patient care
- Collaborate on special procedures with other medical staff
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited ultrasound program
- Registration with Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic & Therapeutic Technologists
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Experience with pediatric patients is an asset
- Physical capability to meet job demands
