Provide advanced emergency care in Grande Prairie as an Advanced Care Paramedic with Emergency Health Services, using ALS airway adjuncts and electrical therapy.
Emergency Health Services offers a regular full-time ACP position within Alberta Emergency Health Services. Assess scenes and patients, administer medications, transport patients, and lead ALS teams when required during emergency responses or transfers. The schedule includes days, evenings, nights, weekends, and on-call shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess emergency scenes and patients
- Administer medications and deliver electrical therapy
- Use advanced life support airway adjuncts
- Transport ill or injured individuals between locations
- Maintain stocked, equipped transport units
Requirements:
- Non-restricted ACP registration with Alberta College of Paramedics
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support CPR certification
- Valid Class 4 Alberta licence or equivalent
- Driver abstract with no more than six demerits
- Ability to perform full operational duties
