Emergency Health Services seeks a PCP for its Bashaw Core/Flex program and temporary full-time assignment. The position involves assessing patients, providing minor medications, using BLS airway adjuncts, and performing semi-automated defibrillation. You may lead crews while supporting emergency scenes, facility transfers, and non-emergent transport units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate ambulances and other transportation modes
- Assess patients at emergency scenes
- Provide semi-automated defibrillation and airway support
- Lead BLS crews during patient transport
- Maintain stocked, equipped transport vehicles
Requirements:
- Current registration as an Alberta Primary Care Paramedic
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support CPR certification
- Valid Class 4 Alberta licence or equivalent
- Driver abstract current within six months
- Successful F.A.R.E. certificate when required
