This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic clinical environment alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team as a Hand Therapist.
WHAT YOU’LL DO: In this role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive assessment, consultation, and treatment across the full continuum of care, from initial splinting and wound/scar management to exercise prescription, functional rehabilitation, and discharge planning. Operating within a single-provider model, therapists are expected to manage all aspects of hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. WHAT WE OFFER: At the Royal Alexandra Hospital, our Rehabilitation Department is committed to clinical excellence through ongoing education, mentorship, and the application of evidence-based practices. You’ll also benefit from a strong culture of learning and innovation, supported by professional practice lead events, quality improvement initiatives, and opportunities for continued professional development. Wellness benefits include secure bike storage, on-site Light Rail Transit access, a fitness centre, and wellness activities. This role is ideal for both experienced professionals and those new to the field, looking to grow in a rewarding and specialized area.

You will engage individuals, groups, and communities to enable meaningful and chosen occupations, including self-care, productivity, and leisure. You will include clients and families as integral members of the healthcare team, encouraging their active participation in all aspects of care. You will collaborate with clients and families to determine, implement, and evaluate rehabilitation plans.
You will participate in a variety of interprofessional teams to build awareness, enhance supports, and engage in quality improvement by partnering with healthcare providers, patients, families, and other stakeholders to advance services for clients.
