The Lois Hole Hospital for Women seeks a Registered Nurse for 4East L&D. You will provide safe, patient and family centered care while using nursing processes, critical thinking, and decision making. The practice requires knowledge of antepartum, labour and delivery, immediate postpartum care, newborn assessment, and breastfeeding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer safe nursing care according to hospital policies
- Care for high risk women with obstetrical complications
- Handle obstetrical emergencies and support deliveries
- Provide cross coverage to Antepartum as required
- Teach, counsel, and advocate for patients and families
Requirements:
- Accredited nursing education program completion
- Active or eligible CRNA registration and practice permit
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Health Care Provider certification
- Two years of obstetrics nursing experience within five years
- Required fetal monitoring, newborn resuscitation, and breastfeeding studies
