This full-time temporary PCP assignment serves the Bashaw Core/Flex program at Town of Bashaw EMS. You will assess scenes and patients, transport patients, administer minor medications, and lead BLS crews. The work includes ambulance operations, vehicle readiness, and clinical care during emergency or interfacility transport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess emergency scenes and patients
- Transport ill or injured patients between locations
- Administer minor medications and provide BLS interventions
- Lead BLS crews during clinical care
- Stock and equip transport vehicles
Requirements:
- Non-restricted Alberta PCP registration in good standing
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support CPR certification
- Valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence or equivalent
- Five-year driver abstract with no more than six demerits
- Ability to perform full operational duties at commencement
