Perform CT and interventional radiography examinations at Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre using specialized technical imaging expertise. Deliver safe, efficient patient service in Diagnostic Imaging.
As a Medical Radiation Technologist II, you will complete specialized radiological imaging examinations supporting disease and pathology diagnosis. You will perform diagnostic imaging procedures for Physician or Radiologist review, interpret requisitions, and assist with imaging equipment care. The position supports CT and Interventional Radiography services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform specialized CT and interventional radiography examinations
- Provide high quality service to Diagnostic Imaging patients
- Complete procedures safely, effectively, and efficiently
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures for Physician or Radiologist review
- Interpret physician requisitions and maintain imaging equipment
Requirements:
- Diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist program
- Active or eligible Alberta College registration
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
- Venipuncture and medication administration authorization
- CAMRT CT certification completed or in progress
