Alberta Precision Laboratories seeks a Medical Laboratory Technologist I for regular part-time work in its Microbiology program. You will process, test, analyze results, and report diagnostic samples. The work supports diagnosis, treatment, and research through routine and specialized specimen procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process diagnostic samples daily within the laboratory department
- Perform routine and specialized specimen procedures
- Test samples used in diagnosis, treatment, and research
- Analyze results from diagnostic laboratory testing
- Report diagnostic sample results to support clinical information
Requirements:
- Complete an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology program
- Hold or qualify for CMLTA registration and practice permit
- Recent Microbiology experience in a medium-sized hospital laboratory preferred
- Demonstrate organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrate computer literacy and keyboarding skills
