Overview
Our client is seeking a Business Analyst with a strong background in M365 migration projects and Microsoft 365. This role combines business analysis expertise with hands‑on technical involvement, ensuring successful planning and execution of a large‑scale domain migration initiative.
Role/Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and requirements for the domain migration project.
- Document current‑state and future‑state architecture, including dependencies and risks.
- Develop and maintain migration plans, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Perform hands‑on technical work to support migration activities and troubleshoot issues during execution.
- Coordinate and validate testing and cutover activities to ensure minimal disruption.
- Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Provide status updates, risk assessments, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
- Ability to perform technical tasks in support of migration activities.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience with Entra ID.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting for migration support.
- Experience with hybrid environments (on‑prem AD + Azure AD).
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator, ITIL, or CBAP.
