Cannon Automotive, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping has an immediate opportunity for a Material Handler in our Windsor, Ontario Stamping Facility. The Material Handler is responsible for moving materials throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have prior Material Handling experience, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:
- Operates equipment including but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies required to move or reorganize storage.
- Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product for final distribution.
- Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production schedule.
- Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area.
- Emptying scrap hoppers.
- Bin audits (dunnage audits). Verify that bins are in safe working conditions before use.
- Retain knowledge of proper packaging and shipping procedures so materials are shipped safely.
- Maintain equipment by regularly cleaning and inspecting it, repairs reported as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by the management team.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid driver's licence and clean driver's abstract.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment performing repetitive tasks.
- Ability to find information, document relevant information, and knowledge of computers.
- Ability to retain information and communicate effectively.
- Ability to lift up to 23kg (50lbs).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid forklift and overhead crane certificates are an asset.
- 1-3 years' experience in a production environment.
The pay range for this role is $20.00/hour to $32.00/hour.
