Repair engine-driven welding equipment and generators for Airgas in Maple Ridge, BC, using technical care and organized maintenance practices. Work Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
As a Repair Technician, you will restore, refurbish, and maintain rental equipment under the Branch Manager's direction. The work includes electric and engine drives, equipment assembly, testing, calibration, parts coordination, and repair documentation. You will also support safe shop operations and occasional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair, refurbish, and maintain welding equipment and generators
- Assemble electric, diesel, gas, and propane rental equipment
- Test, calibrate, inspect, and prepare returned machines
- Coordinate parts ordering and complete preventative maintenance
- Document repairs and provide occasional on-site equipment service
Requirements:
- High school diploma required
- Valid driver license and good driving record
- Zero to one years of related technical experience
- Power generating and welding equipment knowledge is preferred
- Thorough technical work and solid organizational skills
