About us

Airex Energy is a global leader in decarbonization solutions for industries seeking to reduce their carbon footprint and contribute to the transition toward a more sustainable economy.

Our company develops and deploys innovative technologies that valorize residual biomass and transform these resources into high-value-added carbon products.

Our patented Carbon FX™ torrefaction technology lies at the heart of this approach.

Proven at an industrial scale, it enables the production of bio-coal and other renewable carbon solutions for industrial and environmental applications.

Leveraging our technological and operational expertise, we designed, built, and operated a bio-coal production plant in Bécancour for 10 years, demonstrating our ability to turn innovation into concrete industrial solutions.

Our expertise and technology are also central to Carbonity—Canada’s first industrial-scale biochar plant, located on the North Shore.

This major project marks a new milestone in the large-scale deployment of renewable carbon solutions.

We are a team of passionate, entrepreneurial individuals determined to tackle complex challenges.

Here, ideas become projects, projects become solutions, and solutions have the potential to generate a tangible impact on our environment and our industry.

Based at the Laval office, the Industrial Automation and Control Engineer actively participates in the design, integration, and optimization of electrical and automation systems for equipment developed by Airex Énergie.
