Monitor aviation security operations for Air Canada using incident assessment, access control, and bilingual communication across a 24/7 GSOC.
As a Global Security Representative, you serve as Corporate Security's first contact within the Global Security Operations Centre. You triage requests, assess threats, and coordinate information with internal teams, external partners, employees, guards, and agencies. The work supports passenger conduct, watchlist processes, physical security, and operational response.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle GSOC calls, emails, events, and incidents under standard procedures
- Assess threats and communicate operational impacts to appropriate stakeholders
- Monitor access control, alarms, intrusion detection, and security systems
- Manage watchlist, boarding, refusal, and special passenger procedures
- Create detailed incident and shift reports using communications systems
Requirements:
- Fluency in French and English, including strong written skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong confidentiality
- Excellent communication, diplomacy, judgment, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to make quick decisions with limited supervision
- Availability for flexible shifts and continuous 24/7 coverage
