Coordinate construction quality control for Agnico Eagle at Detour Lake Mine, focusing on inspections, non-conformances, and contractor compliance. Work a 7/7 or 14/14 schedule.
As part of the Construction Team, you will report to the Lead, QA/QC - Construction. You will maintain QA/QC programs, review contractor plans, and verify construction against applicable codes, regulations, specifications, and company standards. Effective communication and organized records are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review bidder ITPs and Quality Management Plans
- Collect and validate VQS inspection reports against site reality
- Verify delivered materials and equipment meet approved specifications
- Maintain QA/QC documentation for audits and project closeout
- Track quality trends and report progress to the Lead
Requirements:
- Five years of QA/QC experience in construction or related industries
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Inspection, testing, and audit process experience
- Ability to read plans, specifications, and technical documents
- Excellent communication, training, and stakeholder management abilities
