Coordinate internal and external communications for Agnico Eagle in Kirkland Lake, using writing, digital content, and multimedia skills. This Monday-to-Friday role requires 40 hours weekly.
Reporting to the Communications Manager, the Communications Coordinator supports Kirkland Lake operations and broader Ontario Region priorities. You will work with leadership, Human Resources, Community Relations, and employee committees. The work includes newsletters, campaigns, community information, employee engagement, and approved municipal activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, edit, and distribute approved internal and external communications
- Lead the monthly Macassa employee newsletter
- Create presentations, posters, reports, advertisements, and digital content
- Capture photography, edit video, and design multimedia materials
- Coordinate employee, community, volunteer, and municipal engagement activities
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field
- Two to three years of relevant communications or content experience
- Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
- Strong Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Residence in Kirkland Lake or confirmed relocation plans
