Agilus by Synergie is recruiting a Quality Technician focused on First Article Inspection and part qualification.
Reporting to the Quality Control Team Leader, you will support dimensional inspection in environmental manufacturing.
The role requires interpreting drawings, tolerances, datums, notes, and specifications, then selecting suitable measurement methods.
Existing CMM and metrology expertise should transfer quickly to Polyworks and Keyence.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform dimensional First Article Inspection for new and changed components
- Review drawings and measurement requirements with Engineering and QA
- Create CMM inspection programs from drawings and specifications
- Operate FARO portable CMM, Polyworks, and Keyence systems
- Investigate anomalies and validate inspection results technically
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- Experience performing First Article Inspection or dimensional part analysis
- Experience using precision measurement equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot setup, alignment, fixturing, probing, and equipment issues
- Polyworks or Keyence experience considered an asset
