Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Collections Associate in the Manufacturing Industry in Woodbridge, Ontario.
Are you a customer-focused Collections professional who enjoys problem-solving, building relationships, and helping customers find payment solutions? We're seeking a Collections Associate to join a collaborative and supportive team for a 3-month contract opportunity.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with collections or accounts receivable experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working directly with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve payment and account issues.

$30.00 hourly

A typical day:
- Contact customers regarding overdue balances through phone and email
- Investigate reasons for non-payment and negotiate payment solutions
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities and customer communications
- Review customer accounts and monitor aging reports
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and payment-related issues
- Follow up on disputes to ensure timely resolution
- Process and post customer payments, including credit card transactions
- Manage a large portfolio of customer accounts while maintaining service standards
Successful candidates will have:
- Minimum 2 years of collections or accounts receivable experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional and customer-focused approach
- Ability to negotiate payment arrangements effectively
- Experience managing customer accounts and outstanding balances
- Basic Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
